Hello Abbeydale School Families!

This was a big week at Abbeydale. We launched two separate student leadership initiatives intended to empower students to bring about positive change in Abbeydale School.

The Abbeydale Student Advisory Council, run by Mr. Rachid and Mr. Williams, will meet monthly to identify areas of improvement and plan strategies to help make our school an even better place to learn.

The Abbeydale Diversity Committee led by Ms. Rajan will meet monthly and plan events and activities to celebrate the many cultural backgrounds of the students of Abbeydale.

We are grateful for all the students who enthusiastically volunteered their time to be on these committees, and look forward to helping their vision come to life.

Winter Celebration

This year our Winter Celebration will be held on the evening of December 18, from 6:00-7:30 in the Abbeydale Gym.

Families and Students can begin to arrive at 5:30. Students will go to their classrooms and families will head to the gym.  Students and spectators will be asked to stay for the entire performance, and students will be picked up from their classrooms at the end of the show.

Spectators are welcome but due to facility limitations we ask that spectators are limited to immediate family / household members only.

Please use this link Winter Celebration  2025-2026 To let us know the number of people that will be attending so that we can plan accordingly.

Happy Holidays!

Winter Hampers and the Abbeydale Food Drive Contest

We are excited to hold a food drive contest at our school. Each classroom will collect non-perishable food items, and the class that collects the most items will receive a pizza party. Financial donations can also be made securely online through the Education Matters link below. Money collected will be put towards gift cards that will be distributed with the winter hampers.

Important Note: If your family is currently facing financial hardship and would benefit from receiving a winter hamper and gift cards this season, please reach out to Mr. Rachid to request support. We kindly ask that only families who are in genuine need of assistance reach out, so that resources can reach those who need them most.
