Happy New Year Families!  We enjoyed a great first week back with lots of students excited to see their friends and take part in classroom activities.  Thank you to those families who submitted their School Values ideas.  We received quite a few more in the last 2 weeks, which I really appreciate.   

Save the Date!!!  Regarding school values I am excited to let you know that we will be hosting a School Values Launch Assembly for students and families.  More details will be made available in the weeks to come but for now please know that the event will be held Wednesday February 26 from 1:45-2:30 in the Abbeydale school Gym.  Students will all be in attendance and Families are invited to come as well.

Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 2:40pm  

Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm 

There is no supervision before 7:50am 

Please do not drop off or pick up students in the Bus Parking zone, or in the staff parking lot 

Lunch and Snack

All students should bring a snack from home 

Students who are staying for lunch must bring a nutritious lunch (bring your own spoon or fork as we do not provide have disposable cutlery. 

Please call the school office if you are in need of food support

School Council 

Popcorn Friday 

School Council will be selling popcorn to students on the last Friday of the month at 11:00am.  Money collected from the popcorn sales will go towards supporting our Abbeydale School Council Initiatives. On these days students will be able to purchase popcorn on Fridays for $2.00.   

East Hills Bottle Depot Ongoing Bottle Drive 

Please take your empty bottles, cans and juice boxes to East Hills Bottle Depot and tell them to put your return in the Abbeydale School Account.  This will help raise money for school events such as field trips and our new park fund.
