Hello Abbeydale School Families!
This week students are learning about and honoring the National Week for Truth and Reconciliation. Throughout the week students will learn about what reconciliation means, how it connects to our school values and what it can look like in our community. Then on Friday, Sept 26, we encourage students to wear Orange shirts to school as we recognize Orange Shirt Day.
Thanks to all the families who filled in the demographic forms last week! That is a big job and we appreciate it! One thing to note is that if you move homes, you still must change your address in your MyCBEaccount, filling out the demographic forms does not automatically update your MyCBE account.
Lastly, we have some field trips coming up! We are always looking for parent volunteers to join us but we need parents to fill out their police clearance checks and volunteer forms. For more information about this please see this link Get Involved | Volunteer or call the office.
