Hello Abbeydale School Families! To those who are long time Abbeydale families, welcome back! To those families who are new to Abbeydale welcome! This past week students have been getting to know their teachers, classmates and classroom routines.
We encourage families to connect with your teachers throughout the year to see how you can support them! Whether it be creating morning and evening routines at home, supporting your child with developing reading skills or just asking them what they did each day at school, when we work together our students benefit.
Families please be mindful of the speed limits, no parking signs and traffic rules when driving near the school or dropping of your students. Please do not drop your child off in the middle of the road and please do not park in the bus parking zone. Lastly please talk to your students about road safety when walking home. Remind them to look both ways before crossing the street and looking for hazards.
