Good afternoon Abbeydale School Families,

What a great last week of school before the break. It was Spirit Week this week, and staff and students had lots of fun dressing up for various themed events. Winter Break (Dec. 22 – Jan. 7)

Just a reminder that there will be NO school during these two weeks. We hope you have a restful break filled with time together as families. See you back on Monday, Jan. 8th!

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration opens January 15, 2024 and is done through School Engage. Students need to be 5 years old by December 31, 2023 in order to register for Kindergarten.

Report Cards

As has been the case the last few years, report cards will be made available in MyCBE the week of Jan. 30- Feb. 2). More details will be available in the new year.

Adjustments to Grade Configurations at Abbeydale (2024-25)

As was announced earlier, Abbeydale School along with Dr. Gladys McKelvie Egbert will be going through grade configurations for the next school year. Beginning in September of 2024, Abbeydale School will become become Kindergarten – Grade 6 and Dr. Gladys Egbert will become a Grade 7 – Grade 9 school. For more information, please refer to the communication sent on Thursday, Dec. 7.
