Dear Abbeybale School Families, 

Welcome back!

I hope you and your children enjoyed a summer filled with rest, laughter, and wonderful memories with loved ones. As we begin a new school year, I am so excited to welcome our students back into the building, ready to learn, grow, and take on new opportunities together. 

This year, our work will continue to be guided by Abbeydale School’s values of Kindness, Perseverance, Curiosity, and Integrity. These values shape the way we learn, how we treat one another, and how we approach challenges. We are eager to see students bring these qualities into everything they do this year. 

A few important reminders as we get started: 

• First Day of School: Tuesday, September 2. Students should arrive between 7:50 – 8:00 a.m. at their designated door.
• Teacher Introductions: Teachers will be reaching out by the end of the day tomorrow to introduce themselves and let you know which door your child should use on the first day.
• Forms: Please return all required forms as soon as possible. This includes
• • volunteer forms,
  • medical forms,
  • and obtain-and-release forms. 
• “Away for the Day” Cell Phone Policy: We encourage students to leave cell phones at home. If a student does bring one to school, it must be shut off and remain in their backpack for the entire day. 
• Address Changes: If your family has moved over the summer, please let the school office know so we can update our records. 

We are looking forward to a year filled with exciting learning experiences. Together, we can make this a year where students challenge themselves, celebrate growth, and build lasting memories.  On behalf of the entire Abbeydale School staff, we are so glad to welcome you back. We can’t wait to see our students’ smiles filling the hallways once again!
